About the position
We are looking for a Project Officer to our client, an independent and important agency of the European Union. The position is based at the client’s office just north of Stockholm.
Your daily tasks
You will support the Head of Unit, with the overall coordination of the relevant Unit. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing administrative support to the Head of Unit and Heads of Section in developing and monitoring the Unit’s Annual Work Programme and activities
Supporting the Unit management team in coordinating cross-cutting activities as well as activities related to the management of networks and competent bodies (including communication with the networks and meeting organisation)
Coordinating and organising internal meetings and projects relating to the activities of the Unit
Coordinating, planning and supporting the procurement activities of the Unit as well as the management of the Unit’s contracts
Supporting the preparation and implementation of the Unit’s budgets including budget monitoring and financial follow up
Providing high-level administrative support and/or input into scientific and technical projects

Qualifications:
Education at university level or relevant post-secondary education
High level of service orientation; excellent customer service focus
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proven experience in administration, managing projects and coordinating and monitoring activities
Proven experience in budget management, public procurement and contract management
Preferably experience in a multicultural environment
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) – with a focus on Excel
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

Contract type and hours
Full-time, consulting assignment until 2024-09-30. Start 2024-07-01.
