SVP Products

Role Responsibilities:
As SVP Products you will lead the Product team currently consisting of Product managers, Product specialists and Data analysts to continue the transformation of the industry and further strengthen the company's position in the market.

The SVP Product position will be centred around the following responsibilities:

Team Management:
-Provide leadership and direction to support staff groups, in line with the organization's goals
-Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
-Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a good work environment; developing personal growth opportunities

Manage demand against resourcing by:
-Maintaining a plan of demand levels for the different aspects of the team's work agreed with the management team
-Developing annual budgets (and if required longer range planning) for resourcing of the team
-Putting in place mechanisms to ensure that workload coming into the team in year is managed to realistic levels - managing trade-offs with the management team

Product Vision and Strategy:
-Together with the management team, establish a long-term Product Vision and Product Strategy, including current demand-side, supply side and digital products as well as future potential product areas.
-Understand client segments and develop product lines to meet applicable segment needs.
-Coordinating within internal stakeholders to align the product strategy with the overall company vision and strategy.
-Communicating Product Vision and Product Strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

Product Prioritization:
-Develop, maintain and communicate short and long-term priorities for product lines.
-Own, manage, define and execute product road-maps.

Product Development:
-Drive creation and continual improvement of product development methods and internal processes aimed at delivering the most valuable products and product improvements.
-Leading effective management of product development processes from initiation to successful commercial launch
-Lead product development efforts with a focus on maximizing the relevance and value of product deliveries within a given schedule and allocated budget.
-Evaluate product development releases on delivery, achieved goals and other product development metrics
-Providing an escalation point for Product Managers for identifying, monitoring and responding to risks which threaten the success of the above.

Qualifications:
-University degree in Computer Science or Technology
-Experience from working in a technology company
-10+ years of experience in product management & product marketing
-Experience from developing a long-term strategy and road map for the product team
-Experience from working in a management team
-Experience leading teams of product managers with responsibility for hiring, retaining, and coaching
-Demonstrated history of partnering cross-functionally with Developers, Design, and Sales
-Experience from working in a fast-growing global organization
-Experience from working
