Protein Purification Specialist

Novozymes Biopharma AB is a subsidiary of Novozymes A/S performing microbiologically based contract manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients.Our main customers are industries within the pharmaceutical and biotech area.We are situated in Lund, Sweden, where we have modern laboratories and production facilities.The number of employees today is 84, whereof 17 are working in the development department.

Our development department seeks a new co-worker.

Protein purification specialist
You will be a part of the protein purification group at the development department at Novozymes Biopharma AB.You will use chromatographic techniques as well as membrane filtration for protein purification.Furthermore, your work involves experimental design and evaluation of results.

We believe that you have a Master of Science degree in biochemistry or comparable educations within the scientific/technical field.You should have theoretical and practical experiences of protein chemistry and chromatography, preferably from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.Since we operate in an international environment and in compliance with GMP you must be able to document and communicate your results in both Scandinavian languages and English.

As a person you should be independent, driving, methodical, analytical and collaborative.

The position is temporary starting 1st September 2007 and ending 1st September 2008 with possibilities for further employment thereafter.
