The Prototype Department at Thule Group are looking for another organized and technically interested coordinator who will be the prototype representative in advanced development projects.

Our product catalogue is expanding and the complexity of our products as well, which means that there are higher demands on communication between the projects and the Prototype Department. 

Prototypes have always been an important part of Product Development Process at Thule Group. These are used for evaluation of concepts, verification and validation. At Thule Group, ideas quickly become reality, we work closely with the Design Department and get an early insight in the projects. We develop complex prototypes in metal, plastic and textile materials. Our workshop is directly adjacent to R&D. This makes the practical work a natural part of everyday work while sitting in meetings with Project Managers and Designers in second.  

In the role as Prototype Coordinator, you are expected to: 

- Be responsible of all prototyping within your product categories. 
- Plan the prototype development within your projects. 
- Plan the resources needed within your dedicated projects. 
- Manufacture components and complete prototypes together with the Prototype Technician. 
- Support development projects with all requested prototype tasks. 
- Purchase and have the ownership of all components in your projects.

You who apply have a technical education with a genuine interest in technology and product development combined with an ability to coordinate and lead projects. 

In order to be successful in the role, you should have a background with administrative and/or coordinating tasks in your previous employments. If you have previous experience from relevant working in a workshop together with knowledge of CAD/CAM, 3D-Printing and general manufacturing methods, it is seen as meritorious.
