Product Development, Complete Vehicle Workshop 86180, is looking for two: Prototype Mechanic, Heavy Vehicles. Job description As a Mechanic for Heavy Vehicles you will work in a team of approximately twenty other mechanics valuing a positive team spirit and encouraging atmosphere. Your work will be characterized by close cooperation when working with technical projects and testing together with the other mechanics. As a team member we expect you to contribute to the development of the department, sharing experience and new ideas. Sometimes you will also work on your own, especially when going abroad on technical commissions. Product Development will be your focus area and you will mainly work with testing and construction. You will provide service to companies within the Volvo Group as well as to Volvo customers. Competence requirements Education: * Completed upper secondary Vehicle Education Work experience from: * Vehicle electric systems * Heavy Vehicles * Construction according to drawings * Welding is considered a merit Computer skills: * You have basic computer skills and are used to working with computers.
