Prototype technichian with manual skills

Experienced prototype technician
Do you have good manual skills, experience from production and have an interest in product development?

We are looking for a Prototype technician for an assignment with one of our clients. The role includes responsibility for the manual and semi manual production of prototypes to support product development.

Responsibilities

• Build and pack test products for laboratory or consumer evaluation.
• Create prototypes to illustrate product ideas and solutions.
• Identify most suitable method to produce test products and prototypes to fulfil the requirements of the internal customer.
• Secure that test products and prototypes are produced according to specification, with the desired quality and within the time and cost frame. Secure documentation.
• Work according to procedures and instructions in the Quality system and in the Working environment plan.
• (Create working instructions and train personnel for assigned working operations.)
• (Uphold good knowledge about product areas and technologies.)

Requirements

We see that you have experience from working manufacturing of prototypes, meritious if it was done in soft materials. In addition, you have direct or indirect experience from product development. Preferably you have an education in or Product development. As a person you are service-minded and have experience from working in a close relationship with the client/requester. Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written is a requirement.

Personal skills

You enjoy and are good at performing precision work with your hands. You are structured and thorough. For you it is important to take responsibility and to deliver according to timelines, budget and set quality standards. You are flexible, contributes with energy and have a drive to finish. You work well both indepently and in a group.
