Public Worship Ministry and Integration Leader

New Life Church (Alvik) are looking for a Public Worship ministry and integration leader. New Life is an evangelical multicultural church in Stockholm. Every week 6-800 persons are coming to our activities.Our mission is to impact our world with hope. Every Sunday we meet during two worship services in our building in Alvik. We are a bilingual church holding services in English and Swedish. We also serve various ethnic groups from all over the globe. Our mission is to reach Stockholm with the good news and to live as disciples of Jesus.

We are now looking for a person to lead our outgoing activities and make sure that diversity is integrated into a common mission. You will be a part of the leadership team of New Life.
The area of responsibility covers leading and building Music Teams, Tech Teams, sound and light teams, media production, practical arrangement, event management, co-ordination of Sunday services and leading worship. You will also oversee our café nights, welcome arrangement and introduction of visitors.
As a person you have the ability to manage, encourage and recruit volunteers. You know that you are the only one being paid and therefore are the one that works the hardest and creates an atmosphere where people dream to participate. You are structured, getting things done without losing focus on the individuals.

You will need the following qualifications
- Extensive experience in leading worship (>10 years)
- Experience from leadership in a church with over 1000 visitors per week
- Experience from Teaching music and giving voice lessons
- Audition and build music teams
- Experience from Bible teaching
- Experience from leading large evangelistic outreaches
- Plan and organize large events including stage building and design
- Experience from leading people
- Experience from foreign mission
- Experience from diverse cultures e.g Eastern and Western
- Experience from leading and recruiting volunteer workers
- Track record of building high performance teams based on volunteers
- University degree from evangelical university
- Knowledgeable in Media editing and design software
- Fluent in English

Salary is agreed individually but spans 20-25 000 per month depending on your experience. No overtime is paid. Working hours are steered by the activities. Most volunteers are available evenings and weekends.
