Reference number: 450 JOB DESCRIPTION Axis Communications is continuing to grow and we will therefore expand the purchasing department with a Purchaser focusing on electronic components and electro mechanics.Duties will include: * Responsibility for Axis' suppliers of strategic components and parts, including continuous improvement of the suppliers' performance in terms of delivery precision, quality and pricing. * Setting the planning parameters in our ERP system and also place the actual orders for Axis' strategic components. * Working proactively with Axis' EMS suppliers to avoid shortages and to assist rapidly when shortages occur. * Accomplishing continuous cost decreases together with Axis' EMS suppliers. * To maintain and manage Axis' safety stock of electronic components and electro mechanics with regards to what and how much it should comprise.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We believe you have at least seven years of experience of international purchasing and have very good knowledge of electronics and the electronics industry.Connections with the large electronic distributors and manufacturers are valuable as well as a university degree within purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management.You should also be well acquainted with ERP/MRP systems and the use of them.We also believe that you have a strong personal drive and are at the same time an open-minded team player.You are also very structured, can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.THE TEAM The purchasing team at Axis is responsible for the material supply of Axis' products and all related activities.Purchasing is a function within the Operations department, which also consists of Production, Logistics, Customer Order, Demand Management, Quality and Facilities functions.Together we fulfill our customers' demands and provide them with high class service.WHAT AXIS CAN DO FOR YOU In exchange for your dedication Axis can offer you a job in an innovative and global organization that take great pride in delivering world class, high quality products to our customers.Working with us gives you an excellent opportunity to develop in an organization promoting professional and individual growth.Come join us!READY TO ACT?In Axis you will work in an international organization with enthusiastic people in an open minded and innovative culture.We are growing rapidly which means that new challenges and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally occur every day!Welcome to take part in our success story!
