We currently have the following job opening;

Purchaser Material and Logistics
As a Purchaser Indirect material, Material and Logistics you will purchase and secure timely delivery of parts required by CEVT organisation. You will also be responsible for indirect purchasing for CEVT daily operational needs. In addition, you will support the setup of CEVT Material and Logistics procedures and processes.

Responsibilities and tasks
• Develop strategy and plan and establish procedures, processes, policies and standards for CEVT procurement.
• Develop strategy and plan and establish procedures, processes, policies and standards for CEVT material planning and logistics.
• Provide commercial support to CEVT functional teams and departments according their available budget/operational challenges.
• Responsible for achievement of procurement goals (cost, quality, deadlines).
• Support as a Cost Estimator to investigate alternative materials, processes and technologies and their implementation into the business.
• Finalize purchase orders procedures together with CEVT Finance and start issuing purchase orders to suppliers.
• Prepare procurement and material/logistics reports to CEVT management team.
• Participate and Liaison with Geely and VCC purchasing teams for optimal efficiency.

Profile and Background
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering or business
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience of purchasing and contractual management
• Knowledge of the automotive industry and related systems and processes.
• Forecasting, planning, and correctly assessing needs.
• Interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential.
• Good communication skill with convincing power to finalize the best deal and following up with timely delivery is vital.
• Have efficient knowledge about services and goods available in the market.
• Analytical skills
