We are now helping one of our clients recruit a Purchasing Analyst The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for management of all processes and issuing the reports to the purchasing team and stakeholders. You are expected to handle application and enhancement of purchasing processes by identifying, planning and implementing opportunities to enhance performance. Developing, updating and improving the purchasing procedure handbook and monitor compliance are also a part of your job. Key result areas 1. Application and Enhancement of Purchasing Processes Identify, Plan and Implement opportunities to enhance performance Develop, Update and Improve the Purchasing Procedure Handbook and control adherence Support new system implementations Other processes: Request for Quotation, Standard Cost Calculations, New Supplier Induction, Continuous Improvements Projects Support team with expert guidance and training General terms & conditions 2. Generate and Analyse (system) information Set up & monitor commodity information & tracking system & impact Simulations Capacity reviews Overall category plan consolidation & projections Commitment registration Tooling expenditure Break-even-Point analysis Budget preparation support 3. Reporting Generate and improve reporting Prepare, Analyze and Comment the Monthly Purchasing Report KPI-performance: Supplier Performance Measurement, MOQ / Lead-time reductions, ... Value Creation: Cost Avoidance, Savings, Increases, Transfers. Overall spend analysis + forecasting of projected spend PPV reporting & PPV forecasting Number of suppliers & categorisation Minute departmental meeting + follow up actions 4. Project Management Support the Value Creation Team with tracking and reporting action-plans Consolidated Cost price analysis of existing products Price analysis of components Statistical factors (breakdown of av. Unit mat. Cost, labour, ovh, admin.etc) Qualifications A Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent Minimum of 3 - 4 years in similar position either in controlling, finance or purchasing Advanced Excel knowledge Fluent in English, other languages are an asset Competencies You are a good communicator with interpersonal skills You are able to take initiatives You are an excellent team-player also capable of working independently You are well organized and structured You have good analytical skills and you are process minded You have a good understanding of business processes You are a mature, determined and persistent person
