We are now looking for engaged Purchasing Director Hardware to reinforce current team in Gothenburg, Sweden. 

What you’ll do
In your main task you will support and challenge Volvo and Geely in the collaboration for the Architecture parts in the Hardware area. E.G. Commodity Business plans, Benchmarking, Cost reduction, etc. You will also be consulting support in different studies and programs.
You will report to Carina Ferdell,  GVAT Purchasing VP
You will lead the business within your specific area at GVA Technology, but you will not be afraid to help in all other areas that need an extra hand. We are a true team! Your purpose is to own and prioritize team deliveries as well as to assure that GVA Technology strategies and contents are value adding for the business. The focus will be to bring out the best in the business.

You and your skills

You have University education or equivalent with 5-10 year of working experience in the relevant areas. Thorough experience from Automotive Industry and work within Purchasing.
Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and visual is mandatory. 
As a person you are curious, brave, collaborative, and dare to challenge. You need to be structured and able to prioritise among many tasks. It is important to be flexible, solution oriented and delivery focused. Extensive network within Volvo Cars and/or Geely, CEVT is 
beneficial. Knowledge about agile ways of working is desirable. Desirable you have working experience within the area of Engineering and/or Procurement. 
You are a person that has a global mindset and enjoy taking total business ownership. Strong drive and target focus. Ability to interact cross-borders and to act in a multi-cultural environment. Strong collaboration skills with a positive and innovative mindset, where everything is possible. You need to be curious and have high integrity. You are team oriented with a holistic approach and you enjoy working with tasks where you use your communicative and networking skills.
