Reference number: 424 We are looking for a senior individual for a key management role at Axis.The Purchasing Manager will have the overall responsibility within Axis for leading all activities of the Purchasing team, managing all suppliers and overseeing a purchasing budget of well over 500 MSEK.The job involves leading the purchasing activities towards a set of goals for delivery service, stock turnover ratio and purchasing costs.You will be heavily involved in setting purchasing strategies and will work closely with Production, Order, R&D and other parts of the Axis organization to make this happen.As Purchasing Manager, you will report directly to the Vice President of Operations. Duties in short: ¤Lead the Purchasing team ¤Evaluate potential and existing suppliers ¤Negotiate purchasing agreements ¤Drive purchasing to achieve goals in delivery service, stock turnover ratio and purchasing costs.¤Establish strong co-operation with other parts of Operations and the Axis organization. ¤We would like the successful candidate for this position to have/be: ¤At least 5 years experience from international purchasing of electronic and mechanical products ¤Strong experience in international purchasing agreements ¤Very good communication skills in English ¤Strong personal drive ¤Structured ¤Very good ability to collaborate across organizational borders ¤A technical or business university degree or similar Questions about this position?
