As our purchasing manager you will gain valuable experience in the food industry and marketing in Sweden where we have our head office and also in Nordic countries. You will develop and implement purchasing and supplier strategies as you deal with Iranian suppliers, quality control, negotiate and build and maintain supplier relationships. You will conduct and lead your own negotiations on purchasing terms, assortment and other business conditions. You will establish action programs for purchasing based on budget, market trends, competitors and sales development.
You will negotiate the best price from Iranian suppliers and communicate externally and internally. You will have the main responsibility for purchasing and will ensure that the procurements are profitable and that they contribute to the company growth while also reflecting the company's vision and mission.
You must have good knowledge of Persian, both orally and in writing, in order to communicate directly with Iranian suppliers and maintain a daily communication with them, and in order to evaluate their suitability and eligibility to export Iranian food products. You have knowledge of the customs and culture of doing business with Iranian suppliers.
Your role includes;
- Investigate the market and evaluate suppliers
- Develop, review and negotiate purchase agreements and contracts with suppliers
-Keep up to date with all relevant legislation and ensure that all procurement procedures and procurement comply with the regulatory requirements
- Develop strategies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints.
-Assess which Iranian food products to buy-Have internal communications-Evaluate the demand for the Iranian customer market in Sweden and Nordic countries
-Manage Iranian supplier selection processes based on price, quality, support, capacity, reliability and trade history
-Visit the suppliers and attend trade fairs, conferences when appropriate.
-Contribute feedback on improvement of purchasing of goods, customer service,
-Manage risks related to quality, cost and delivery
We are looking for a purchasing specialist for our team. The requirement for this service is to be able to communicate Persian freely both in writing and orally. If you have experience in sales and marketing, we see it as a plus, but not a requirement. However, you need to be a driven person who quickly learns the sales and marketing process with the will to develop yourself and the company.
