Purification Specialist

Novozymes Biopharma Sweden AB is a subsidiary of Novozymes A/S performing microbiologically based manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).Our main customers are industries within the pharmaceutical and biotech area.We are situated in Lund, Sweden, where we have modern laboratories and production facilities.The number of employees today is 100, whereof 9 are working in the process development department. We are currently seeking a purification specialist for a temporary position during 10 months to join the process development department. Challenges You will have the following main work activities *Plan, participate in and document purification experiments for process development and technology transfers.*Project management. Qualifications We believe that you have a Master of Science or PhD degree within biochemical engineering or comparable educations within the scientific/technical field.You should have industrial experience within protein purification in lab and possibly pilot scale, preferably from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.Experience of project management and working in a GMP environment is advantageous. Since we operate in an international environment and in compliance with GMP you must be able to document and communicate your results in both Scandinavian languages and English.As a person you should be independent, driving, methodical, collaborative.
