QA Engineer (Contract)

The Position
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated QA Engineer to work within a talented team on our high-profile, next generation future projects.


You will be centered in the Stockholm QA team working closely together with people from various teams to create and execute test plans throughout the development process covering functionality, usability, performance, design and compatibility testing. Your main tasks will be to perform functional and qualitative testing of gameplay mechanics, assist the core QA team with daily tasks, as well as writing and executing test cases. It will be your responsibility to report all issues into a bug tracking tool and have a firm knowledge of bug writing to a high standard.


It is essential that you can clearly communicate concerns, work within deadlines, take direction well and can actively promote testing within development.


Required qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience testing on current gen consoles
At least 1 shipped AAA title
Analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to describe complex information in a precise and detailed manner
Knowledge of bug tracking software
Experience with debugging software and software crash outputs
Experience from working as embedded QA within a development team



Desired qualifications
Education in fields related to games or/and testing
Interest in open world games
Implementation of tool sets that bring the right value for current gen and next gen
Experience with QA tools for test automation and performance testing
Experience from working with games as a live service
Thorough understanding of gaming industry standards.
Knowledge of 1st party compliance and submission process
