QA Test Engineer to hallon

Hallon is a sister operator of the mobile operator Tre and started in May 2013. The core concept of hallon is based on simplicity; It should be easy to be our customer. About the role
We are extending our team with a QA for our CRM and billing platform. In this role you will be responsible for performing functional testing with manual scripting, end-to-end testing and to the extent possible also test automation. You will be part of hallon IT team that has responsible for all hallons IT system working together with vendor and consultants.

Depending on your background the role can either expand into further QA responsibility for the web platform or a variety of tasks like development on in-house application, requirement analysis, configuration of new products, create ad-hoc reports, etc.

If you are the one, we are looking for, then you know how hard it is to describe your current role and we face the same problem with this one. Yes, there are formal requirements and responsibilities, but there are also the not so formal but very important expectations that you will get the stuff done and you are ready to help a colleague out even if it is formally not in your area of responsibility.

If you are a developer or a tester that likes to work with plans that are set long in advance and that do not change, this is NOT a role for you. If you on the other hand enjoy working in a very competitive market where we often need to re-prioritize depending on new opportunities, then you might be the one we are looking for.

Your responsibilities:

• QA responsible for the CRM and billing platform. This will your primary responsibility, in addition to this you can expect to also add one or a few of below areas:

• QA for the web platform (hallon.se)
• Creating and maintaining test automatization and set test strategies for the above

• .Net development on in-house developed applications
• Requirement’s analysis to support our stakeholders and outsourced development team
• Configuration of CMS
• Configuration of products in our billing platform.

Furthermore, you will join us on our journey to shift operating system from Windows to Linux.

As a person, you are accurate and able to coordinate and talk across disciplines, colleagues who work with core functionality and network, as well as with technical suppliers and our technical backline. You take pride in delivering more than expected and you do not miss deadlines.

To thrive in this role we do believe you have experience as a developer (.NET), as well knowledge in functional testing, Oracle and SQL. It is a huge advantage if you have work experience from the telecommunications industry and are familiar with billing platform.
