Engineering & Supply Business Unit High Speed Separators is responsible for the design, manufacturing and delivery of separator systems for various industries: Brewery, Beverage, Dairy, Edible Oil, Biopharma & Industrial Fermentation and Ethanol, Starch & Sugar.

Quality and Compliance are crucial and we’re heading for a future packed with innovation. For that reason, we are now looking to strengthen our Quality team with a Quality and Compliance Engineer.

Your main tasks

As Quality and Compliance Engineer you will:
* Play a key role in assuring quality and compliance in product development and customer projects.
* Engage in customer claims and drive or support quality related investigations.
* Facilitate risk assessments for personal safety in accordance with applicable product legislations/directives.
* Ensure that the compliance process, procedures, and guidelines are understood, aligned and followed.
* Support new product development and product maintenance activities.
* Play an instrumental part to ensure that the quality management system conforms to customer, internal, and regulatory/legal requirements.
* Write or contribute to writing governing documents and design guidelines.
* Lead improvement projects with lean six sigma-based approach.
* Give trainings in GMP, risk assessment methodology, problem resolution, etc.

In the Quality and Compliance Engineer role you report to the Quality Assurance Manager in Engineering & Supply. The position is fulltime and based at Alfa Laval’s office in Tumba, Stockholm.

What you know

You hold a relevant master’s degree in engineering or equivalent. As we are a global organization, you’re fluent in English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are beneficial. We believe you have a track record of leading product and process change initiatives.

You have a minimum of two years of experience in working with product safety and/or compliance related activities in an industrial environment. Knowledge in Lean Six Sigma and project management are for sure a plus.

You are a true team player, supporting your peers with your knowledge and experience. You have a positive, pro-active mindset and you are always ready to seize new opportunities for colleagues, customers and stakeholders at all levels, while staying focussed on the goals.
