Quality Assessment Specialist Role in Stockholm

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Quality Assessment Specialist with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
You will be part of an embedded team responsible for ensuring that production, features, and fixes are developed with quality in mind. You will collaborate with the client's volunteer community as well as producers, developers, designers, content creators, and others to create incredible entertainment experiences.


Concerning the role, you will be responsible for the following:
Collaborating with the team throughout the development cycle to make educated risk assessments and feedback
Supporting and coaching developers in their testing skills
Understanding the engine and tech stack on a basic level.
Actively participate in the improvement of test design and processes, sanity checks, PR testing, smoke tests, exploratory testing, and other activities.
Coordinate tests and testing efforts
Collaborate with community and external testing studios to focus testing on specific areas and gather information
Posts a clear and accurate description of each bug found in the QA database
Takes responsibility for overall quality and drives initiatives within the team
Understands project management/bug reporting tools (ADO, Jira) and maintains these as well as providing information/bug reports to developers
Assist in bug triage by providing feedback to the community to ensure that their efforts are as effective as possible





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Strong collaboration skills
Strong knowledge of a software project's life cycle
The ability to work in an embedded team, understanding the needs of developers and production leads while maintaining a strong ownership of quality
A proactive mindset
The ability to support your development team with reliable reproduction procedures
Prior experience as a QA Specialist, preferably in a gaming organisation;
Prior experience with modding, game design, or other game development experience is a big plus (but by no means required)
