We are now looking to expand our Quality Assurance team with a Quality Assurance Engineer, to support the ongoing work to establish and improve internal working procedures for continuous improvement.

In the role as Quality Assurance Engineer at FPC, you will be part of various development projects supporting with quality assurance activities. We are looking for an individual who is open-minded, self-driven and possesses good communication skills. In addition, you need to be flexible and capable of taking a lead and drive certain quality assurance projects, while taking a more supportive role as quality resource in others.

 

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve the quality assurance process during development phase, including
• all applicable activities within sales, design, verification, test, sourcing etc.
• Monitor the results and efficiency of the quality assurance activities during development phase
• Represent Operations team in Toll Gate (TG) decisions
• Support review for new business opportunities and business areas
• Support internal quality management system (FOX) implementation and enhancements
• Be part of team for internal audits and supplier audits.
• Be part of various projects and support with quality assurance and preparation for manufacturing specification.


 

You report to Senior Manager Industrialization and Quality Assurance and will be part of a growing team placed in different sites both in Sweden and Asia. The team consists today of Quality developers, quality engineers, analysis engineers, assurance engineer and production engineers.

You will mainly work from our office in Malmö or Gothenburg, but you must also be willing to travel to suppliers and to our other sites from time to time.

 

Your background and profile

You have an M.Sc. in Electrical, Engineering or equivalent, and have 3-5 years or more of experience of working within electronics development and production. You are well versed in various quality techniques and methodologies. You have broad knowledge and experience from supporting quality improvements in all parts of the organization.

You are self-driven, analytical and good at resolving issues even in the absence of pre-established guidelines/way of working.

You are ready to become part of a rapidly growing and evolving company where you are expected to assume considerable personal responsibility for your work, finding ways to drive your ideas forward and actively contributing to maintaining an open and positive atmosphere.

As our corporate language is English, fluent written and spoken English is a requirement. Proficiency in additional common languages in the company (such as Swedish, Mandarin, Korean) is viewed favorably.
