Quality Assurer to PX Control-team Visma R&D

Visma is the leading provider of business software and services for accounting and administration.Visma has 3,500 employees in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands and Rumania.In Sweden Visma has some 1,000 employees.Visma Research & Development department (R&D) drives Visma's technological innovation in areas that shape the future of international business systems.We have more than 220 developers located in Europe.Visma R&D creates products that address the increasing demands for reliability, ease of use, seamless integration, and security.We believe that excellent software is the result of highly skilled and motivated employees collaborating in teams applying modern methods and best practice in the software industry.A large part of our products are built using the Microsoft development platform.We also take advantage of frameworks and tools outside the Microsoft platform, such as Java, Ajax, Db2, and Oracle.We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Quality Assurer to join our PX Control-team in Stockholm.You will work with our R&D team, a small group devoted to specifying, designing and implementing a leading product for project and time management taylored for Consulting businesses.Responsibilities and work tasks: * Carry out quality assurance of the product in accordance with the specifications * Participate in requirement specification, often based on ideas or requests from stakeholders and users * Creating and maintaining the documentation needed by the developers so they can implement the required functionalities * Creating and maintaining the user documentation using DITA * Quality assurance/testing.This involves developing and following test procedures and routines in accordance with the quality system * Verify that new functionality agrees with requirements specifications * Follow up on items in the error reporting system * Implement automated tests * Participate in improving processes for development and test * University degree or similar within the area of software and work experience within the domain * Technical understanding in the areas of software and database programming * Experience from testing and test systems * Experience from test automation * Good spoken and written language skills in both Swedish and English [ Personal Skills: * Structured, quality focused attitude * Team spirit and good communication skills * Analytical mindset with attention to details * Self motivated and self driven attitude * Customer satisfaction oriented [ We offer: * An attractive working environment with very sociable and highly skilled teams. * Competitive salary, and other benefits * International travels for training and project meetings * Challenging and motivating work tasks, with a high level of responsibility * Company lodges in Spain and France
