Quality Control Engineer

Are you passionate about precision and innovation? We're looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join our Product Development Prototype Lab.
In this hands-on role, you'll work closely with our Design and Industrialization teams to ensure our prototypes meet the highest quality standards. From incoming components to final assemblies, you'll be responsible for inspections, measurements, testing, and continuous improvement throughout the development process. This position is with one of Scania’s portfolio companies.
What you'll do:
Inspect and test components and assemblies using technical drawings and procedures
Perform mechanical and electrical testing, including final inspections
Develop and apply inspection methods and quality controls
Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and statistical process control (SPC)
Identify and investigate defects, maintain quality records, and support process improvements
Calibrate equipment and manage nonconformance reporting

What we’re looking for:
BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
2+ years’ experience in quality control (preferably in batteries, automotive, or manufacturing)
Skilled in reading engineering drawings, using measuring tools, and applying inspection techniques
Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, SPC, FMEA, and calibration methods
Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized
Proactive, solution-driven mindset with strong communication skills in English
