We are looking for a quality engineer to strengthen the Quality team within HVDC, a business unit within Hitachi Energy. In this role you will be responsible for the localization and incoming material inspection process. You will develop, implement and improve the quality control processes and the test/inspection plans in order to mitigate known risks. This is a role with many interfaces and interesting work tasks. Your responsibilities
Develop, implement and continuously improve the Quality Control processes the Test and Inspection Plans for incoming material and to minimize risk of production issues
Analyze result of inspections and input from main stakeholders such as Engineering and Supply
Be the link between the inspectors and the engineering and supply team to maintain the Test/Inspection plans
Lead the incoming Material Inspection s monthly meetings
Train Quality Inspector(s) in carrying out the inspections
Lead and prioritize the work of the Quality Inspector(s)
Resource planning for resourcing the Quality Control processes and escalate any need of resources and/or equipment to ensure efficiency
Lead investigations and improvements within Valve assembly

Your background
You have a bachelor s or master s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and preferably also ISO 2859 series
Experience of Quality Control/Material Inspection and collecting and analyzing nonconformance data
You are customer oriented and proud to deliver with quality
You are proactive and have a risk awareness attitude
You are driven and persistent with the ability to create engagement
Fluency in English and Swedish is required
