Quality Engineer - TUN Contract - Lolland Site - Earthworks and Roadworks

About us:

FLC is the Joint Venture in charge of the design and construction of the longest immersed tunnel in the world. It's a very complex project consisting of Tunnel North Contract & Tunnel South Contract (TUN) and the Tunnel Portal and Ramps Contract (TPR). Within the FLC organization many processes have to be followed and to be fulfilled within different central departments established in the overhead organization TXX.

Your position will consist in ensuring the external control of Inspection and Test Plans related to TUN Contract on the construction site in Rødby.

Key activities:

- Ensure, that the Inspection and Test Plans are correctly implemented on site
- Control of the record documentation
- Supervise test performance by the Laboratory Representatives
- Carry out spot checking on calibration of the equipment
- Follow the rules and guidelines established by HS&WE Manager, Environmental Manager and the Production Team
- Carry out random inspections to check that the Inspection ad Test Plans are correctly implemented
- Liase with Owner's representative during site inspections

Required Qualifications:

- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as Quality Inspector on Earthworks and/or Roadworks
- Knowledge to Euro Norms and Standards dealing with Earthworks and Roadworks
- Fluency in English
- Geotechnical knowledge
- Autocad (Reading of Design Drawings)
- Danish knowledge will be an advantage
- Knowledge to Vejrdirektorat & Bandedanmark standards will be an advantage
- Experience with testing of materials for Earthworks and/or Roadworks will be an advantage
