Quantity Surveyor

Summary
Headquartered in Ireland, delivering throughout Europe, Winthrop Engineering & Contracting is a leading engineering company employing circa 600 people in 2021. Due to new projects across Europe driving our continued expansion, we are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Responsibilities
· Supervise the procurement of packages ensuring technical completion
· Monitor sub-contractor and supplier payments and sub-contractor variations
· Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director
· Manage relevant client communications
· Document and cost changes to the work scopes and prepare the monthly valuations and final accounts
Skills & Qualifications
· Eight years’ experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment
· Data Centre experience would be a significant advantage
· Relevant level 8 degree
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
