Radio Portfolio Evolution Leader, Long Term Product Planning

About this opportunity

We are now looking for Radio Portfolio Evolution leader to drive and evolve our Long Term Product Plan (LPP) for Ericsson's AAS radio products. You will in your work foresee future Radio platforms and upcoming opportunities and in this way guide our predevelopment by proposing design-bases for future Radio products.

The Radio LPP is used to assess our technology development in all different categories and identify technology gaps. The work has many different areas that need to be investigated and understood in order to make a qualified guess about the future!
Working as Product development leader in this field will require a broad knowledge within telecom covering both hardware, software and network knowledge. You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, both with colleagues internally as well as customers and suppliers to Ericsson. The role more than often requires seeking knowledge, looking outside normal information flow, including all possible inputs, and responsibility to initiate discussion involve others as well as independent work.

To be successful in the role you must have:

Great abilities to bridge over organizational borders in are of system, strategy and radio technology community
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, with ability to formulate problems and solutions in an understandable way
Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree in electrical engineering or similar
5-10 years within Research & Development, preferably Radio and NW Product areas
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking
Eye for business understanding
Customer Insight
Coaching & Mentoring Skills
Negotiation Skill
Formulating strategies and concepts
Understand and follow industry trends in area of telecommunication
