R&D Engineer - Drying & Impregnation

Industrial R&D within ABB Corporate Research within the Power Technology department in the group "Insulation and Nanotechnologies".
Strengthen the material and insulation team to develop new commercial interesting solutions to our T&D business. Focus in improving electrical, thermal and mechanical properties in existing and new ABB products.
Arbetsuppgifter
Educational background Ph.D. or lic in Materials Science, Applied Physics or similar. General competence in Materials Science specially in area of paper, board or textiles and/or Applied Physics. Experience in modeling (fluid dynamics) of processes regarding drying and/or impregnation of a liquid (oil, water) in a polymer matrix like e.g. cellulose.
Utbildning/Erfarenhet
Fluent English, excellent skills in communication with people and high capacity for multi tasking. The actual person must have the potential to be a good project leader. 1-3 years professional working experience is an advantage
