R&D Engineer - Field Grading Materials

Industrial R&D within ABB Corporate Research within the Power Technology department in the group "Insulation and Nanotechnologies".
To strengthen the group in dielectrics and modeling towards cable, cable accessories, transformers and motors. Focus in improving electrical, thermal and mechanical properties in existing and new ABB products.
Arbetsuppgifter
Educational background M.Sc or higher in Material Science, Electrical Eng., Electrical Power Eng., Applied Physics or similar. Excellent competence and practrical experience in electrical measurement technologies, material compounding, understanding of insulation systems, and competence within fields of HV engineering and/or applied physics, as well as modeling and simulation experience. Experience of work with Field Grading Materials is a large advantage.
Utbildning/Erfarenhet
You are now project leader or have the skills and capacity to be one. Fluent in English.
Education: Civilingenjör 180p.
Language: English: Flytande, Svenska : Bra
