You will be part of our R&D team, passionate to develop our products further. The team's responsibilities range from understanding the raw material behaviour to the final product performance. Much of the product performance is set already early in the processes and therefore quality of incoming material is important for us. Now we want to strengthen our knowledge especially in glass used in our sensor cells. You will be developing a process for in-house manufacturing. This includes specification and preparation of raw material to an industrialized process. This task is interesting, independent and requires strong background in materials science or chemistry, manufacturing and testing. You will be responsible for all process steps related to this task. This means e.g. buying in equipment, raw materials, further development of the product, quality control and testing. After hand over to production, new challenges in our R&D team will be waiting for you. If you want, this can also be a time bound project. In that case, time estimate for this task is roughly one year.


Requirements:
. Ph. D. or M.Sc. with materials science, glass and ceramics or chemistry as a major
. Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
. Driven personality, ability to manage tasks and to work proactively
. Strong analytical skills
. Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral) and Swedish at least with limited working proficiency
. Ability to work well in a team environment A bonus would be if you have experience from any of the below:
. Glass making and glass paste manufacturing
. Heat treatments and sintering of glass materials
. Thin film coatings (CVD, PVD, ALD)
. Vacuum technologies
. Process engineering
. Data analysis
. Project management

Our manufacturing includes many complex process steps, e.g. high temperature sintering of ceramics, belt furnaces, in-house built vacuum furnaces and calibration stations.
