Rebuild & Vehicle Coordinator Test Engineer - Södertälje

We are seeking a consultant for a position as a Rebuild and Vehicle Coordinator Test Engineer for our client in Södertälje.

The job involves overseeing the testing of vehicles at the client's Technical Centre in Södertälje. The team manages a group of test vehicles. The person in this role will be responsible for:

• Serve as the primary contact for rebuild requests and oversee the rebuild request process.
• Coordinate the flow of incoming rebuild requests for vehicle reconstruction.
• Arrange scheduled rebuilds based on vehicle availability and testing schedule.
• Assist with inquiries regarding rebuilding, such as time estimates and recommended procedures.
• Ensure that the requester has submitted all required information and materials for the reconstruction.
• Organize components, personnel, and facility resources for the reconstruction process.
• Keep a record of rebuild projects and their progress status (Requested, Approved, Completed).

Requirements

• Social, extrovert, and skilled at engaging with stakeholders using both physical and verbal communication.
• Understanding of automotive parts is essential. Familiar with components such as clutch, turbocharger, prop shaft, etc.
• Possess a valid B driver's license.
• Attentive to details while also having an analytical approach to determine what meets the standard of “good enough”.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Meriting

• Knowledge of Swedish or Mandarin/Chinese.
• Understanding of trucks and their components.
• Background in the automotive industry.
• Valid C/CE driver's license.
