Regional Demand Planner

Arbetsbeskrivning

For Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions and division Rock Tools in Sandviken, we’re now looking for someone who wants to significantly develop your supply chain skills as our Regional Inventory and Demand Planning Specialist with responsibility for the European region. This is a great opportunity to enhance your strategic planning competence and build a broad international network by combining your true analytical skills with your talent for stakeholder management!
What we do
The Demand and Logistics organization within division Rock Tools ensures a solid foundation for delivering products and meeting forecasts of customer demands by analyzing data, spotting trends and planning the most efficient ways to produce our tools. Brining your knowledge and experience into the equation, you play a vital part in our success!
Your mission – enhance our inventory and demand operations by analysis and collaboration
In this position, you interact with our sales teams in Europe, CIS, West Africa and the Middle East to drive the sales and operations planning processes – enabling us to carry out production plans and manage relevant stock levels at warehouses around the region. You spot trends and analyze data in a state-of-the-art planning tool, and you undertake weekly operational plans with consideration to KPIs such as fill rate, forecast accuracy, warehouse inventory levels and net working capital.
Furthermore, you actively drive and implement development activities in our region, and you initiate new ways of working with systems, processes and documentation. Collaboration is key to our success, and you’re an important speaking partner and sounding board to our global Supply Chain Development team, our sales organization and other relevant stakeholders.
Your character – a strategic specialist with passion for stakeholder management
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Industrial Economy, or equivalent experience and competence gained from a working career. A plus for us is if you have a few years’ experience from working within this area, as well as knowledge of using MS Office and specifically Excel in forecast and product planning. Any knowledge or experience of working with ERP systems is also positive. As we’re a truly global organization, you need excellent written and verbal skills in English, while additional skills in Swedish is a plus.
Your personality makes us better! Being analytical and strategic, you have a natural ability to plan and
forecast numbers and statistics, and you truly enjoy understanding how your findings affect our business.
You’re also creative and seek improvements in your daily work, enabling you to actively solve problems. With excellent collaboration and communication skills, you build both trust and strong networks, and you inspire and challenge your stakeholders in performing accurate reporting and planning.
