Volvo Bus Corporation is the world's second largest manufacturer of large buses and coaches.The range comprises complete vehicles, chassis, transport system solutions for metropolitan traffic, leasing, financing and service contract maintenance.Production is carried out in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia.We employ about 7700 persons. Role To manage, develop and plan the operations in marketing and sales within the area, through the importer organisation or directly to the customer in co-operation with the body builders.To manage and plan the implementation of VBC policies and strategies within the area.Responisbilities and authorities; Manage the sales process leading up to a bid/ tender, through importers and dealers Provide market intelligence and business opportunities within region of responsibility.Identify profitable sales opportunities Consolidated sales responsibility and follow up within the area.To set, implement and follow up goals and actitivities withing the area accordance with the main objectives of VBC Continuously develop and support exisiting importers and develop new segments/markets within the area To safeguard that the VBC policies are applied in all areas.To work for a good co-operation between different departments within VBC and other companies within the Volvo Group.Objectives: Meet/exceed annual sales goals Grow our customer base Leverage marketing efforts Required competencies/skills: Sales experience in B2B with solid performances in sales growth and client retention Fluent in France and English Passionate about building solid long term business relationships Demonstrate a high level of business ethics Motivated by results Commitment to quality Perseverance Strong ability to make things happen A considerable amount of travel is required to efficiently cover the region and achieve the desired results Please note that solely applications submitted up until the last application date, via the electronic application form on Volvo.com, will be considered.
