The Autonomous Drive function team purpose is to take the lead in safe, customer valued and purposeful functions for Autonomous Driving (AD). We design the customer function and customer interaction, we develop the functions in collaboration with suppliers and we integrate, verify and validate that the customer experience is achieved as intended. Our autonomous technology for AD and Pilot assist functions will take relaxed and safe car journeys to a new level in; this is the future of driving and mobility that will impact the whole society! To make this happen we need talented people on-board that wants to make a difference.
We are now looking for a team player with competence and experience of function- and system safety design to join our Autonomous Drive Function team. The responsibility, communal with the team, is to design for a robust and safe human-centric self-driving functionality.

What will you do?
You will be part of a team with competences in system- and function design and verification and contribute to the development of world leading safe autonomous functions. Your work will focus to include and integrate Traffic Laws and other regulations valid for unsupervised driving into function requirements, based on understanding their intentions. In your work you will actively impact on how autonomous driving offers to customers will expand across areas, countries and regions. You will contribute to make sure that our products comply to legal and regulatory standards. You will also pro-actively engage and impact on regulations and laws related to autonomous and assisted functions. In this work you will collaborate and be supported by the corporate legal and regulatory network.

Do you fit the profile?
We are looking for a strong team player with documented competence and experience in working with regulatory and legal requirements in the automotive industry. You are up to date on trends in the automotive business and have a strong interest to be part of the big shift into autonomous driving vehicles and new customer experiences. You understand how to integrate requirements to make products comply to legal and regulatory standards. You preferably have experience in certification. We also expect you to have the skills and interest to stay close to authorities and other parties in order to work pro-active to impact on legal and regulatory development.
Agile, cross-functional and collaborative way of working is natural for you to reach high quality results in time. You are a committed and trusted team worker and the team’s achievements are essential to you.
You have a M.Sc. degree or comparable experience. Fluency in spoken and written English, as well as a driver’s license (B) with adequate driving experience, is required.
