Department of Biosystems and Technology
Research at the Department of Biosystems and Technology explores the interactions among soils, plants, animals, environment, climate, infrastructure and humans in systems for sustainable production of food and renewable raw materials. Teaching activities deal with questions about sustainable and efficient use of limited resources, within the broader context of circular economy while facing the constraints of climate change. Duties:
The appointed candidate will perform a sustainability assessment selecting indicators, collecting data, model sustainability and report the results in written academic format.

Qualifications:
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with competence in agriculture, horticulture, or related field. Knowledge and experience in sustainability assessment and perennial cereal crops in combination are required. Good skills in collaboration and communication within academia.

Place of work:
Alnarp, Sweden

Form of employment:
Fixed term employment 6 months, with possible prolongation.

Extent:
30-50 %, with negotiable changes.
