Details: An exciting opportunity for a R&D Engineer to join our team at our office in Renfrew.The main purpose of this role is to provide expertise to the post combustion process, within the areas of carbon abatement, gas purification and scrubbing technologies.You will be the principle investigator for a number of major projects, which will require an innovative approach to deliver the quality required by a world class research and development centre.Therefore the commitment to complete the projects in set timescales and within the contract allowance is an essential requirement.
You will also be required to propose development work to help meet company objectives and to contribute to the effective exploitation of completed projects.You will help in the development and coaching of junior staff to help them contribute to the company.You must adhere to all company procedures and systems and work towards continuous improvement of all procedures to help enhance the company's performance.
The ideal candidate will be educated to Degree level or equivalent and will have previous experience within the oil and gas/petrochemical & process industry, with an emphasis on providing environmental solutions.You will have a good understanding of codes, legislation, company standards and quality procedures along with excellent commercial awareness.An excellent communicator at all levels you will be a team player and have experience of supervising and coaching other members of staff.

Details: The organisation has a dedicated R&D Centre based in Renfrew, which is a leading-edge world class centre for innovative technology development.

A vacancy now exists for an Engineer with significant and appropriate experience in the field of computational fluid dynamics.The chosen candidate will have expertise in the field of plant modelling and will act a principal investigator on multiple R&D projects.
You will be required to interface with clients and therefore will require sound communication skills, both written and verbal.
This role will require sound knowledge of codes, legislation, company standards and quality procedures combined with good commercial awareness.Candidates will be expected to have a minimum qualification of a degree or equivalent in a scientific or engineering related discipline and ideally chartered membership of a relevant institution.
