Research Scientist in Advanced Ceramics

Diamorph AB is a spin-off company originating from materials chemistry research at Stockholm University. The company has developed a variety of advanced materials. The company has established collaborations with several world-leading industrial corporations within different application areas and markets, such as energy applications, medical implants, and different industrial applications. Job Description You will be focusing on hands on sintering in our laboratory, advanced materials analyses and communicating results from our R&D projects. In addition to the R&D work, you will also take part in the planning of development projects for new customers as well as interactions with our collaborators in different countries. The position is for 12 months. Requirements We expect you to be highly motivated and hard working. You need a very good knowledge in advanced ceramics and sintering processes. You need to have a Ph.D. in chemistry or materials science with specialization in sintering of ceramics or ceramic composites. Several years experience from the ceramic based industry or from ceramic research in the academia is required. International experience is further required, especially work experience from Japan is a valuable merit. Excellent skills in both written and oral English is a requirement.
