The responsibilities related to this position are centred on the evaluation of software, databases, data mining tools and data visualisation methods in support in the research group's activities in developing drug safety related decision-making tools for use in discovery projects.Required Skills: At least one object oriented programming language eg.Python, C++, Java.Web-based application development (design/construction/maintenance).Formal training in a biological or chemical discipline with research experience.Useful Skills: Text Mining XML Position requires a Masters degree in computer science (or equivalent), bioinformatics or computational chemistry.
