- Proven professional with 5+ years of experience in research and analysis in the digital space
- Experience with retail, fashion or comparable consumer brands
- A strong understanding of usability and user experience
- Experience with a variety of different user research methods applied across the product development process

- Building relationships with users, recruiting participants, scheduling and facilitating moderated and unmoderated, quantitative and qualitative research
- Analysis, communication, and practical actioning of user insight, including from all of the above, plus databases of user feedback, analytics (web, database, server logs) A/B testing, and competitor analysis
- Bringing customer stories and experiences to life for employees across sage. Metrics and measures for evaluating User Experience
- Iterative usability testing, field visits, contextual enquiry, focus groups, and surveys
- Fluent in English

Job Description
We are looking for a Researcher to join our global client’s Product Exploration product area. You are an experienced Researcher with strong communication skills who can coordinate and execute valuable research projects with distilled actionalable outputs. You will work across the Product Area supporting a cross product team view of the customer journey and support individual project teams with your professional research capabilities. You will be joining a rapidly growing?and diverse?team?of?talented?and?passionate?Experience Designers and will work tightly integrated with cross-functional product teams. You will also collaborate with?stakeholders across the business impacting product decisions across different retail brands?and with your design craft, empathy, and customer-focused mindset. You will help define the vision for our client’s digital experiences by empathizing with their customers and understand the challenges and opportunities within this space. Plan and propose the right research methodologies and prepare and facilitate the associated research activities and distill and document the output. Capture and document a deep understanding of their customers’ needs, wants, behaviors, and emotions in outputs such as customer journey maps, personas as well as support production of prototypes. Shape a shareable understanding of how customers experience their products combined with market insights, technical constraints and business needs to inform the creation of designs that surprises, delights and delivers through amazing experiences. Champion and embed research data as a vital element of the product delivery agile life cycle. Collaborate with Product Designers, Brand- and Visual Designers, Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders. Take opinions and emotions out of the process by bringing to life the true customer voice into the room.

Personal qualities
You are passionate about understanding the users’ needs, motivations, behaviors and are able to translate them into actionable deliverables. You have a strong understanding of usability and user experience. The ability to translate user insights into actions formulated to fit an agile product methodology. You are an excellent communicator, able to articulate design rationale with solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capability - you love to simplify the complex. Engaged, open minded and ambitious team player willing to share and learn. Cultivate a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, attitudes, and emotions. Discover how people experience the client’s products, test prototypes, advocate for users, and help deliver design that surprises and delights. Salary
As agreed.

Admission and Application
Full time position, 40 hours per week. The position will start 2021-04-26, and the assignment is expected to run until 2021-09-30, with possible extension. For this assignment you will be employed by JobBusters as a consultant at our client. Submit your application in English as soon as interviews are ongoing.
