Then you just might be the right person for us as we are looking for a tour guide who is interested in working with us in Sweden.
Job Responsibilities
Describe points of interest during the tour to the group and answer any questions, which requires learning the history of each check point.



Provide directions to visitors who would like to check out a specific area at a later time, and provide information related to lodging, food and other amenities during the tour.
Maintain an organized schedule for the group activities during the tour.
Greet visitors as soon as they get on board the bus and provide assistance with organizing the transportation of the group with the drivers.
Be willing to put own spin on tour points, such as making jokes and providing insightful commentary.
Maintain a positive, friendly demeanor at all times.



Job Skills & Qualifications
Required:
Great public speaking skills
Outgoing personality
Punctual
Previous experience with handling groups up to 40 people
Flexible schedule to work on weekends and holidays



Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent
Fluent in English, Knowing Swedish, German or another language is a bonus
Previous experience working as a guide.
Clean driver license Class B

You will work in and in one of the most amazing landscapes during the peak season for a specified duration during the months of November 2022 - March 2023 depending on your availability.
Being a tour guide in the Arctic is an interesting job that varies from day to day, carries a lot of fun and can sometimes also be really demanding. It will give you a lot of experience in working with people from all over the world as our clients come from different parts of the world, talking in front of big groups and the organization of a group. It might give you the chance to practice your language skills in various languages and the advantages of working in an interdisciplinary team like ours will be that you gain a lot of knowledge in fields that are not completely related to your job.
Note that this is not a full-time or part-time position, but it is seasonal work. Depending on the performance during the probationary period, a full-time position may be offered.

90degreeesnorth AB is an adventure travel company headquartered in Linköping, Sweden and operates in Kiruna, Swedish Lapland. We organise trips for 18-35 year olds in Kiruna and we have guests visiting us from all over the world.
