SAAB Automobile AB is a world wide operating premium car manufacturer and is embedded in General Motors Europe organization.The Quality Planning & Execution department, within Engineering Quality unit in location Trollhättan is now looking for a: Statistical Analyze Specialist The (Quality Planning & Execution) department is responsible for implementation and execution of Quality Strategies such as DFSS, FMEA, DFA, Red-X, etc, within GME Engineering.We are working closely together with various expert teams to ensure Quality issues and requirements are understood and met.As a Statistical Analyze Specialist and Project leader within DFSS / robust design you will be working within Engineering Quality planning & execution to be the departments expert within statistical Analyze as well as one of our DFSS Black Belt specialists, responsible for implementation & driving of DFSS methodology.Although the position is located in Trollhättan, education and coaching of the GME engineering organization on other sites will be executed when needed. You will be responsible for statistical risk-analyses, supporting decision making process in both development projects, field performance.The position also includes statistical analyzes to support robust assessment test set-up and calculations as well as support to test & development of new methods regarding reliability and durability calculation, testing and simulation.You must have the capability to take on the lead in activities above as well as support outsourced development work internal and external, and with development suppliers.We are looking for a person with a university degree in applied statistics / mathematics combined with a higher general engineering competence.Experience from design/development/quality activities within automotive industry (or from other areas) is an advantage.Also experience from leading capability (task-force, crossfunctional) and multi task capabilities is required.You should also be creative and selfmanaging, communicative and engaged.You must have knowledge of Quality tools and Quality management as well as validation activities.Proficient in English and driving license for car is required. 17, 2008.
