Saab Automobile AB has its roots in Trollhättan and with a strong tradition of innovation and design.The results are pioneering technologies and versatile cars that combine driving pleasure with affinity for nature.Saab Automobile is looking for a Systems Engineer for Electrical Systems Engineering (ref no 382) The Systems Engineer leads the work within a specific area related to Vehicle Electrical Architecture (e.g.Functional Modeling, Serial Data, Diagnostics, Functional Safety, Electrical Power Management, etc). As Systems Engineer you will be working with defining Electrical Architecture development timing, based on an overall project plan.Major tasks also include: leading the Architecture Requirement Balancing, coordinating investigations of changes and new technologies related to the Electrical Architecture development and leading Electrical Architecture related to change, risk and quality management. You have a Masters or Bachelors degree in Electric/Electronic or Software engineering, with experience in distributed electrical system and serial communication.Experience within vehicle systems engineering and requirements management is preferred.Furthermore, you have skills in expressing yourself orally and in written, both in English and Swedish. As a person you should be proactive, have good interpersonal and communication skills.You like working in a cross-functional environment and have a drive for results.
