Saab is looking for a Requirements Engineer

The GME Requirements Engineering department in Trollhättan is now looking for a Requirements Engineer (ref no 294-1691) GME Requirements Engineering is a part of GME Vehicle Integration.The department is responsible for coordinating the requirements setting for all car platforms that are developed within GM Europe.Our work begins in the very early development phases and continues until start of production.During this time we work very close together with engineers (from Russelsheim and Trollhättan) from different Vehicle Integration areas and Project Management.This position is GME responsible for working out strategies for common GM European requirements that must be fulfilled to sell GM cars in Europe.You will also be responsible for requirement management and requirement documentation on car level for all Saab programs, based on Global GM platforms.The person we are looking for have a Master degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive engineering or equivalent.Experience within the fields of Automotive Engineering is preferable.Very good skills in English both spoken and written are a demand as we work in a global environment.Good skills in Specification systems, Microsoft Office tools, Lotus Notes tools and internet applications are also a demand as our specification system is computerized.
