The Safety Center in Trollhättan is looking for Crash Avoidance Technical Experts (Ref 294-1692) At the Safety Center in Trollhättan we are responsible for the overall vehicle safety performance, from early concept development through final validation of serial production and field crash investigations of real-life crashes.The Crash Avoidance team is responsible for strategy and overall objectives for functionality that assist drivers to prevent collisions as well as crash preparation and mitigation systems. The team defines functional content and behavior as well as partitioning and architecture aspects of emerging active safety systems such as crash preparation systems, mitigation braking, advanced lighting features, etc.We are responsible for the crash avoidance functionality roll out plan and work together with both technology research and product portfolio. The Crash Avoidance team work in close relationship with the Vehicle HMI and Vehicle Dynamics teams and are represented in different global expert teams within GM.Definition of development targets and safety relevance derived from collision research are tasks of the group as well as development of validation procedures for emerging safety systems.We are now looking for experienced engineers with minimum a master's degree in engineering, to work with active safety and sensing as well as strategies and combination of safety systems.Experience from vehicle safety (active and passive) engineering is very qualifying.Good communicating skill in English is a must.Mark your application with the ref no 294-1692.
