SAAB Automobile AB is a world wide operating premium car manufacturer and is embedded in General Motors Europe organization.The Body department consists of several design areas as Body Structure, Doors, Hood & Lid, Glass and Exterior Ornaments.The Body department in Trollhättan is now looking for a: Project Leader in Advanced Engineering The Advanced Engineering section is responsible for all Advanced Engineering Projects ongoing in the Body department.This includes new Concepts as well as new Materials, with special focus on lightweight design to lower the CO2 emissions.The position: As a projectleader you will be responsible to run Advanced Projects, together with different experts from the Body department, but also other departments as Crash, NVH, Chassis aso in a teamwork, following our Advanced Engineering process.You should also be responsible for the technical development and concepts chosen in the projects.Since we are working in a Global organisation, you are responsible to communicate all results aso internally GM worldwide and take part in globally runned meetings.We are always looking for the latest technologies and materials etc.This means that we are cooperating very close with suppliers and other OEM's to get the needed information and competences into our projects.As a projectleader you will also be active with updating Advanced Engineering Materials in our databases covering Technology strategies, Onepagers, budget etc.Qualification: We are looking for a person with a Master degree within Mechanical Engineering.Experience from the Automotive Industry is desired and also a general interest of technique and cars is favourable.Good spoken/written English skills is a must and German is a plus.As a person you should be flexible, structured, a self starter and be able to take initiative.You must be able to work independently but you must also be a teamplayer.Female applications are appreciated.
