Job Purpose To develop and implement a sales strategy which will ensure that the Sales Team meet PR Newswire goals and objectives in revenue, new product sales and market share.Key Result area Provision of clear direction to sales team in the Nordic Region.- Meet revenue targets in Nordic Region.- Staff management and development.Job description Our partner is a global leader in innovative communications and marketing services, enabling organisations to connect and engage with their audiences in more than 170 countries and have offices in 16 countries.- Prepare, control and communicate annual revenue and cost budget for sales department in Nordic Region - Assign sales goals, accounts and territories to the Sales team and new push into Corporate Managers sector - Devise and implement effective commission structure to ensure that staff are highly focussed and motivated - Constantly monitor actual vs revenue targets and take corrective action as necessary - Increase market share in Nordic Region by providing local products - Develop and maintain a strong relationship with key clients and members of the media - Direct and manage programme for prospecting new clients Main areas of responsibility - Contribute to formulating corporate strategy as requested by Board/Sales Director EMEA - Contribute new ideas for product development and feedback to Sales Director EMEA or development team - Establish, manage and develop a team of approximately 5 sales Staff.Take responsibility for recruitment, appraisal, counselling, career development, delegation and teambuilding.- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments to establish and develop customer focused culture.Work particularly closely with Client Services to ensure that service levels are met and continually improving.- Assess the performance of the sales team against the KPI's detailed in the Balanced Scorecard and take corrective action as appropriate.Qualifications and Personality - Significant successful track record in sales - Extensive successful senior sales management position - Creative thinker - able to originate new methods and strategies to further corporate and departmental customer relations goals - Strong written and oral communication skills- Proven track record of building strong, high performing teams - Experience in the media industry & sales - including face to face and over the phone - Experience of working in Europe and specifically selling into the Nordic Region - Good knowledge/interest of the PR/IR marketplace - Ability to compile and execute strategic initiatives to focus the sales team Other I you believe you are the perfect person please apply as soon as possible.
