POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sales Director Nordics, you are act as the day-to-day Business Leader for our employee's in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. You are focused on customer acquisitions and retention, revenue growth and hold the responsibility of making your region stand in the competitive market against strong competitors. You oversee the complete sales department, gather performance data to prepare future plans, and create reports for executive management. As the Sales Director you are the backbone of the Nordics region and are involved in driving overall strategies for the growth of business along with Executive Management. You will report to the SVP Sales EMENA .

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee Day to Day sales operations of the Scandinavian Business (Sweden, Norway, Denmark)
- Ensure that the revenue align with the targets set by the organization
- Ensure that proper reporting is in place
- Liaise with the Executive team to provide regular updates on the activities of the Nordic region
- Participate in the Roadmap direction planning of the solutions for the region
- Ensure that the region is staffed adequately to protect the recurring revenue
- Liaise with leaders in the other regions to promote global standards
- Plan and execute programs that will generate new revenue opportunities
- Liaise with Key Accounts as a Senior representative of the company
- Maintain close Employee relations across all departments
- Performance management and improvement systems
- Upbeat and strong team player
- Present on C level
- Driving complex sales cycles, understand legal implications
- Strong network F500 level, ISV & SI

SKILLS AND ATTITUDE
- Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a staff team.
- Effective problem - solving and mediation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and share skills and knowledge with others.
- Demonstrated ability to multi - task and work in a fast - paced office setting.
- Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations.
- Metrics driven

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of ten years in technology related sales roles, strong preference for Logistics intensive markets
- A minimum of five years of experience in Sales Management with a strong track record of success and business growth.
- Proven skills in business and financial management.
- Worked for public international companies

LOCATION
You will be based at our Descartes office in Malmo, Sweden, but willing to travel to our office in Norway and Denmark.
