The role

• Take full commercial responsibility for the products in abrasive/construction with approach to extend the profitable growth in Sweden and Norway.


• Manage sales for all industries included in the abrasives and constructions market in the region.


• Identify new sales opportunities and develop new products / applications in cooperation with the entire abrasives/construction team. 
• Understand the markets and the key players active in the region and build the necessary market intelligence to retain and extend the Customer portfolio.


The role’s key accountabilities will primarily involve

• Position the product portfolio of Sibelco to a favourable place in the market.
• Management of Customers and Key Accounts assigned in the region.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies including price, product and distribution channels to develop new and existing markets in cooperation with the abrasive/construction commercial team.
• Set prices and payment terms in line with Sibelco’s pricing and payment structures for the region.
• Mapping competition and identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
• Build network at all relevant Customer levels as well as in business related local and national organisations and key suppliers.
• Provide operations and supply chain with on time information to schedule the activities for the short/medium/long term period.


• Essentially for this role the candidate will have


• Sales experience in an international, multifunctional environment with a proven track record in identifying / developing new business.
• Practical understanding of industrial mineral industry with specific and detailed knowledge of construction.
• Customer orientated, innovative and problem solving.
• Project, time and change management and negotiation and organisational skills.
• Multi-lingual (Local and minimum English required).
