SK Scandinavia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Marketing Director to lead our Sales, Marketing & Innovation (SMI) team comprising approximately 10 talented professionals. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the commercial strategy for SK Scandinavia. The Sales & Marketing Director is a member of the Scandinavian Executive Committee (ExCom). Further more the role is member of the European Sales Leadership Council and has a dotted line responsibility of the Sales Managers network in Scandinavia.
Responsibilities:
The Sales & Marketing Director’s key responsibilities are to:
·     define and implement our Commercial Strategy as well as proposing new initiatives to strengthen the Scandinavian business,
·     have the big commercial overview as well as keeping the CEO informed and updated,
·     have the overall PES/MNA responsibility and lead in partnership with the GMs (tenders, volume, contribution)
 
In addition, the Sales & Marketing Director has full management responsibility for all activities within the SMI department, to provide leadership and strategic direction to the SMI department, fostering growth and innovation.
Tasks:
Develop, review and implement commercial strategies to drive growth and maximize EBITDA.
Handle tenders within PES/MNA (with GMs as decision makers regarding pricing), as well as helping business units with other large tenders when required.
Ensure profitability and volume targets are met, taking accountability for financial and non-financial objectives.
Set the overall strategy for contract types (Euwid or non-Euwid, 3 or 6 months, etc.) and ensure that it is implemented across business units.
Lead the SMI organization through vision setting, inspiration, and motivation.
When required, support GMs and Sales Managers to set sales strategies for their business units.
Review and adjust the SMI organization to ensure capability for achieving objectives.
Ensure alignment with HR policies and goals, managing labour relations.
Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence.
Implement necessary processes, systems, and measurements to comply with legal and Group requirements.
Continuously report on sales results, goal fulfilment, and propose corrective measures.
Competence Requirements:
University degree in Economics or equivalent.
Experience in senior positions, preferably as GM or SM.
Strong knowledge of all commercial aspects and budgeting/forecasting processes.
Analytical skills with the ability to provide fact-based insights.
Experience in change management.
Fluent in English.
