HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.

As a S&OP Manager - SCM Line Planner you will:
Your responsibilities
Runs the sales and operations process, to ensure an accurate forecast of the capacity and demands throughout the HVDC organization
Continuously interacts and supports the department managers in the forecast of the workload and capacity
Interacts with the tendering organization to update the commercial scenarios
Supports your colleagues from the line planning group in the S&OP analysis
Develops specific expertise in planning and execution of the Supply Chain Management line organization’s scope in HVDC EPC deliveries
Establishes accurate scheduling methods and best execution practices for Supply Chain Management and ensures that this is reflected in type schedules
Compiles information from the different projects and tenders, analyzes and makes recommendations that assist effective management and decision making
Works with Supply Chain Managers to align resource capacity with project demands

Your background
You have knowledge of procurement, preferably in the electrical industry
Knowledge of large companies’ environment is preferable
You have knowledge of planning methodology and tools (MS Project, P6) and Microsoft’s Office suite of software
Education in Operations and/or Supply Chain Management
It is good if you have 2-5 years of work experience
Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of Swedish is desirable
You are structured, flexible and hold great qualifications in project management
You are a dynamic and social person who enjoys working with people from various business areas and parts of world
You have great skills in planning and controlling a time schedule
