Tecan Nordic is currently hiring a strong, energetic, and engaged Sales Specialist focused on their Liquid Handling product range. This is a highly technical and consultative sales role where you will cover Tecan’s most advanced and prestigious products. Tecan’s liquid handling systems are highly flexible and, therefore, a sales specialist needs to develop know-how in applications, user software, performing customer demonstrations, presentations and training.  You will be covering Denmark as territory and customer segment will include biotech, academia, drug discovery and genomics laboratories among others.



Responsibilities


Individual sales territory responsibility for Order Entry (OE) and sales
Performing technical consultancy to fully understand customer needs and LiHa objectives
Demonstrating technical solutions by configuring systems, presenting solutions, referrals or demos
Managing customer expectations and in some cases challenging whether they are realistic and/or practical
Networking with key opinion leaders and partners to drive the business
Generation of customer required documentation including correctly formatted quotations
Submitting tenders and RFQs
Raise awareness of Tecan by performing education technical seminars (lunch and learn seminars)
Provide regional market intelligence
Managing the installation process after receipt of sales order including initial customer training
Help develop and execute yearly marketing strategy in collaboration with the rest of the team
Device and formulate regional growth plan in line with the overall company objectives
Submission of weekly forecast (OE and Sales) and maintaining updated CRM system.
Ensure compliance to company’s values, code of conduct and compliance of business processes
Positive engagement with other territories, the regional sales and service team, marketing and product management






Qualifications
For this role, we are looking for candidates with a sales experience either in lab-tech or med-tech. Knowledge of automated workflows is advantageous, as well as previous experience in sales or customer-facing role.

You as a person are target-driven, highly self-motivated with a natural “will-to-win”. You are customer focused, and are an exceptionally good listener with ability to quickly understand and prioritize customer requirements. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills are required.


Science degree (or comparable scientific / technical education)
Minimum 3 years lab-tech or med-tech sales experience
Fluent Danish and English language skills.
Experience with The Challenger sales process or similar
Strong commercial skills and track record in sales
Able to communicate and understand the needs of the internal and external clients
Able to work well under pressure
Willingness to travel (2 to 3 day per week)
