About The Role:
This is a temporary position covering maternity leave. As a Sample Manager you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing our sample management process to ensure compliance with GLP and ISO 17025 standards. Successful performance in this role may lead to opportunities for permanent employment as we continue to grow.

Your Essential Responsibilities will include:
• Oversee Sample Lifecycle: Manage the reception, storage, preparation, and distribution of samples, ensuring full compliance with GLP and ISO 17025 standards.
• Effective Tracking: Implement and manage sample tracking systems to enable quick and accurate sample location throughout the testing process.
• SOP Development: Collaborate with the QA department to develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sample management to meet quality standards.
• Sample Scheduling: Coordinate with various departments and project managers to schedule sample testing, ensuring timely availability.
• Inventory Maintenance: Maintain an up-to-date inventory of samples, recording their origin, storage location, and status.
• Disposal Compliance: Oversee the proper disposal of samples in alignment with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Customer Communication: Manage queries regarding sample status and location from internal and external stakeholders.
• Compliance Audits: Conduct regular audits of sample storage areas to ensure adherence to GLP, ISO 17025, and relevant standards.
• Process Improvement: Continually review and enhance sample management processes and systems to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Temperature Management: Monitor the around-the-clock temperature control system during regular working hours to ensure samples are stored within specified environmental conditions.

KVALIFIKATIONER
Requirements - Skallkrav
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field. Previous experience in sample management, preferably within a GLP and ISO 17025 accredited laboratory environment.
• Strong familiarity with GLP regulations, ISO 17025 standards, and relevant regulatory requirements is advantageous.
• Exceptional organizational and record-keeping skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in sample tracking software and relevant tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of quality and actively seeking continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated and driven to contribute to the success of the team and the company.
